7 - 7 - Care for the formation of culture. Each of us is obliged to give the greatest possible attention and support to all statements 1 of national culture and to every truly creative cultural work. An important task here falls to the press, who is called to carry the culture into the broad range of the people. This also results in their responsibility to the community and their duty to work in a disciplined manner in their minds, all the more so since the press is one of the most important means of forming a public opinion. We also expect effective support from the economically strong circles, for all kinds of schöpferischer work, but in particular for work leading to the progress of technical sciences. With the same conscience and determination with which we want to promote the flourishing of the positive cultural forces, we will at the same time not know that irresponsible activity and creation spread under the guise of national culture moral decomposition. Not only the authors, but also the publishers, the administrators of the public galleries, the directors of theatre and radio broadcasting, as well as the activity are responsible of the past: that one of the highest völkisg's work is a binder and a community.
