To this end, the following must be said: In the state of the war economy in Central Europe, intergovernmental competition plays a lesser role. In general, there is an increased demand for goods, which can often not be satisfied despite existing foreign exchange. In addition, the control of the foreign exchange economy regulates the import of the products, taking sufficient account of the conditions of the protectorate industry. In addition, the difference in customs duties will not play a significant role in the generally expected price increases. Moreover, the abolition of the customs border to the Reich means the inclusion of the protectorate in the German economy. The overall economy is the decisive factor for the design of the tariff of the Reich. The economy of the Protectorate must adapt to its conditions in terms of production and sales. c) A few statistical figures were briefly sent to the presentation of the trade policy side, in particular imports and exports. The share of the protectorate's exports in total production is about 25% (in the Reich 8%).
