St.M. III A - 246/44 g.Rs. Prague, December 3, 1944. Secret Reichsfälle 1.) KR-FS: -3. XII. 1944 (After entrance to treat as a secret Reichssfache!) To Mr. Reichsminister and head of the Reiohskanzlei Dr.Lammers, Berlin W8, Voßstraße 6. Very revered Mr. Imperial Minister! Gauleiter Dr.Jury has asked me to make 10,000 Czechs available for a visualisation in his gau atf of the route Preßburg - Neusiedler- See. I was unable to respond to the request from me, since in Kürze in the Protectorate even larger ski jumping works are to be carried out, for which I urgently need all the still somehow freeing workers. The work in the Gau Niederdonau overlaps in time with those in the Protectorate, so that at the beginning of the ski jump in the protectorate the forces would be lacking. Moreover, the employment situation in the protectionate is so tense that I will have the greatest effort to provide the required forces without endangering the armaments industry for the local needs. In the internal politics, such a massive use of Czechs would strike new waves and once again cause rumours to arise that, despite all the opposite promises, the Czech population would be forced "in the last hour" to serve as weapons in the German army.
