English Translation
It is likely that Gauleiter Jury will attempt to support his request in this way at the party law firm. I should therefore like to point out that, in the context of the closed engagement of Czechs in the Gau Nieder donau, it is at the same time an extremely political question on which the Führer must decide. Gauleiter Jury, incidentally, urges an immediate decision which I have assured him of. Occasionally, my conversation with Gauleiter Jury told him that the party law firm would issue an order in the next few days, which would also be the party's responsibility in the protectorate of the ski jumping operation. I have stressed, however, that the ski jumping work in the Protectorate must be carried out almost exclusively by Czechs with regard to the population conditions. Therefore, the principle of the primacy of the party for the leadership of the German people cannot be applied in the present case. Moreover, the party lacks any legal and practical means to provide the rich and autonomous administration in the Protectorate with the instructions necessary for the execution of the ski jumping operation. I would ask you, Mr Reichsminister, once again, to ensure that, in the case of ski jumping, no regulation is made which ignores the particular circumstances in the Protectorate and the position of the German Minister of State for Bohemia and Moravia. In this respect, I would be grateful if you would inform me as soon as possible about your steps and the state of affairs.
