Copy. 59 The Inspector General of the Administration of Prague, 15 December 1942 Mr. Superior General D a l u e g e . S In the course of the reorganisation of the administration, the following simplification measures were taken by the Finance Division of the Reichsprotektor in close cooperation with him in the field of protectorate budget law: 1.) Provision on budgetary resources: a) Up to now, the various branches of activity had to submit a list of all the chapters, titles and individual items with a view to the operations necessary for each month, even after approval of the budget plan on the appropriations entered in the budget. The Ministry of Finance has examined all expenditures every month and issued an opinion on them, and the central authorities were then allowed to dispose of the funds. In case of expenditure of more than 50,000 persons, the involvement of the Ministry of finance is necessary in each individual case. This cumbersome procedure has been simplified. The monthly postal requirement of the funds and the individual audits of the Finance Minister are now missing. In the future, the ministries will be able to operate completely freely and on their own responsibility in the context of the approved budget plan with very few exceptional cases. The equipment requirement is now carried out in a simple manner by means of a Pormblatt, which is aligned with the provisions of the Reich. b)
