STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 1560, sig. 109-4/1314 (damaged)
English Translation
As a result of her behaviour, a branch was brought in such an inconsistency and unbridledness that a ceremonial one appears to be excluded. Just the first day, woman began to get involved in things that are merely an ilial leader and that I myself had with Mr. A d a m e chen. It is therefore not a backlog of the goods, but a division which should exclude any inadequacy of the customers. Mrs B i r k e seems to be prepared to make regulations for the branch manager. This is of course an untenable condition. If she noticed any irregularities, she certainly would have been obliged to make a report, but, according to my observations, this certainly does not seem to be the case with Mr A d a m e c . Today, Mrs B i r k e also felt it necessary to make Mr A D a m c aware that his employees were a thief. Supposedly, she would have had something to owe herself in the other branch. But this woman certainly doesn't give me this impression and besides, you would have to know something about it. Also, various customers said that she did not go to our branch because of Mrs. B i r k e and now she is here again. I would therefore like to ask you, in your interest, to place Mrs Birk e in another branch so that the really good agreement that she expressed in the satisfaction of the clientele will be restored. I really tried to achieve this and I will be very sorry.
