Regulation No 263/939 on temporary restrictions in certain branches of industrial enterprise, which introduced a special authorisation procedure for the establishment of new businesses, the extension of industrial establishments and so on, expired on 3 October 1984. We have already argued in favour of extending the effectiveness of this government regulation. However, it is not possible before the regulation expires, according to information from recent times received from the Department of Commerce, but it is intended to extend its validity again, i.e. It is likely that with retroactive effect from 1 November l940. The trade authorities have been instructed to carry out surveys on applications submitted to them, and on applications for the issue of the trade certificate, in accordance with the regulations, in the event that their validity is extended.
