In the week from 8 to 15 December194l it was given the possibility for the cereal growers of the Protectorate to register subsequently, in the period from l6 to 20.l2.41 the Ministry of the Interior ordered the carrying out of controls with the aim: l.) to determine to what extent the farmers have now complied with their obligation to notify, comply with and 2.) to take action in the event of violations of the notification obligations against the accused. (a) the Ministry of Agriculture, (b) the Grain Farmers' Association, (d) the County Authorities and (e) the Protectorate Gendarmerie. On the way in which controls were carried out and on the selection of the farms to be checked, the Minister of the Interior issued precise directives stating that the stables, sights, etc. belonging to the farm were to be examined. in each village, a farmer who corrects the quantity of cereals declared at the end of October 194l in the period from 8 to 15.12.194l and a farmer that had not made an adjustment must be checked.
