In its reply, the Ministry of the Interior took the view that it should refuse this authorization, since the number of housing units should not be reduced without reason in the case of the existing lack of housing. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Labour, following a copy of a letter addressed to the Magistrate in Prague dated 23 October, issued the same facts, has given up on the Magistrat to examine whether it was not a question of circumventing the prices fixed by the Supreme Prize Authority. If necessary, the withdrawal of the concession would have to be carried out to a large extent.The price authority has not yet given its opinion on this issue.
