St.S. IV M - 96/41. g. Prague, 27 June 1941. Chancery puts on special sheet: Under-Secretary of State. 27. VI.1941 As the Secretary of State has been reported to the State Secretary, clerks of the Department of Education are on the basis of private service. The Secretary of State considers such behaviour to be completely unacceptable from the standpoint of the reputation of the Office of the Imperial Protector and from the point of view of employee discipline. The Secretary of State has asked you to prepare the draft House Decree and to submit it for signature, which will henceforth exclude the same or similar provisions. In the House Decree it is to be ordered that the retirement of employees into the private sector is now only permitted with the prior consent of the Office of the Reich Protector. Mr Staatsekretär wishes that such cases be presented to him for a decision. I may ask for the appropriate further initiative.
