The investigation against the owners of the South Bohemian Selchvarenfabrik in Tabor, Josef. H a c k e r and Joh. M 1 e j n e k , against which a criminal case at the German District Court in Prague is already pending under reference number 7 Gs 15l7/42, has been completed. As a result, the earlier finding that meat and meat had been sold (sold and given away) to a certain group of people in the Selchwarenfabrik in Tabor was further substantiated. - The size of the owners of the South Bohemia. However, the result of the investigation was not open to infringements of the economic nature of the product concerned, and the investigation, in accordance with the meaning of the original notification, was confined directly to the supply of meat to private customers, i.e. consumers. There is talk of a customer group of 30 to 40 people, but these were only made to a small extent. The identification of all recipients of meat and meat products without marks is limited insofar as neither circle of the recipients themselves nor the extent of the purchase of meat in detail within the Selchwarenfabrik is in any way recorded in book form or otherwise in writing. In the light of the only very incomplete testimonies available, on which the result of the investigation is based almost exclusively, any further investigation can only be carried out as a search on the basis of resulting presumptions. H a c k e r itself, which is to be regarded as the main accused, the purchasers know without doubt exactly, but he himself has served them. Even now, after proof has been provided correctly by witnesses, he consistently denies that he has delivered meat and Pleischwaren without trade marks (compare his re-examination of 17.10.42, Bl. 52 d.A.).
