- Sheet 2 - 3. is the sudden and everywhere arising enthusiasm for hunting, which is guided away from the thought of making meat and lacks any ideal basis,is to be taken with special caution. The overtaking of the hunting licence applicants has also caused the master of the Reichsjägermeister to stop the tests for obtaining the hunting license or to leave open only for applicants under 25 years. Since similar phenomena have also occurred in the Protectorate, a decree of the same meaning was issued by the Supreme Hunting Authority. For reasons of national politics, the Herr Reichsprotektor will issue an exemption for Germans in consultation with the Herrreichsjägermeister for the Protectorate. However, as far as the few hunters of Branowitz today are concerned, this should in fact be done in order to maintain their hitherto illegitimate share of the high level of game held in the representational hunting area of Seelowitz, for which the neighbourly position of both districts seems particularly favourable. The refusal of the chief hunting officer of Eranowitz to lease the hunting district to the representational hunting may be factually correct or false, but it must not be overlooked that the lease is not an act of voluntariness, which is subject to the assessment of the party concerned, but that there is an official mandate, legally justified, issued by the German commissary head of the supreme hunting authority and that autonomous officials of the lower hunting authority are involved in its execution. The refusal by the German hunting chief to comply with the mandate of the German-led central authority could not remain unknown to the Czech officials of the authorities involved, so that a yield must lead to a loss of the german authority and may further result in the same desire being made by the other Czech municipalities concerned, which in turn would thwart the necessary rounding off of the representation hunting area of the Reichsprotektor. According to § lo para.3 of the Reg. Ordinance 127/41, the chief of the hunt is subject to the supervision of the lower hunting authority. If he refuses to carry out official orders, he must therefore be dismissed from the responsible district district abeharde and used in his place a suitable replacement. The hunt Branowitz itself is to be regarded as one of the main hunts of the representative hunting area. Their preservation as part of the representation- //
