Anton Pfrogner, General Arbeitsfthrer, October 14, 1943. and Höh,-RAD,-Rührer LA Ministera Eg.: 21.0KT. 1943 Mr. State Minister and Ss-Obergruppenführer TCEO in P r a g. 20/X Dear Minister of State, dear Karl Hermann Prank! I have received your kind lines from 6.9. and according to an old habit I would like to tell you very briefly today what I am doing. I have been back in my old West location since the beginning of September and I am in the middle of a new and beautiful task. On the orders of the Pührer, our units are trained into plak batteries, so that the part of my comrades who has not yet been able to do arms service also reaches the desired combat operation. The new task brings a lot of interesting things to me and if I tell you that my command range extends from Holland, along the coast, to Toulon and that the number of my details should be quadrupled in the next few weeks, you will probably get a penniless picture of the size of my task and my work. I don't particularly want to be very comfortable with this. I wink at you in your difficult task all the best and personally vol- le health, in order to fulfill as before exemplary. On this occasion I repeat my cordial invitation and ask you, if somehow the time allows you to visit me here. I could certainly show you a lot of new and interesting things, and I think it would also be good for you to come out of the door for a few days. St.M.ND-5e$
