4 7 Reichpolitik in Bohemia and Moravia. Party comrades ! I followed the invitation of your Gauleiter, Konrad Henlein, to speak once before a circle of political leaders of the "eichsgaues Sudetenland" about the politics initiated and led by me in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Mähren. I must draw your attention to the fact that parts of my remarks represent state secrets within the meaning of § 88 of the Reich Criminal Code. Anyone who has made a political assessment at the end of the year l938/39 could see that the leader at this time completed the historical process of German unification of the 19th century. The German nation-state, which was closed and filled with new power, had emerged, but only in the historical order of the state. The National Socialist Revolution had reached its second important stage after 30 January 1933. The leader now gathered &åf forces for the further path. The new section began with the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. When the leader stood on the old German imperial castle in Prague on March 16, 1939, the R e i c h was proclaimed in a deeper and more specific sense. With the establishment of the Protectorate, the National Socialist Empire has taken over the European leadership and order in binding legal form.
