32 - 16 - Fear of German Revenge. During all these events, however, the broad mass of the Czech people has maintained, by and large, a loyal attitude to the rich. The Czech worker, who was particularly referred to by our social measures, worked properly in the large armaments works, the Czech farmer ordered his fields and delivered, so that we could already give some surpluses to the Reich since I942 and the Czech official and employee provided, albeit reluctantly, his service in the offices.
