I. l. Landforetmeister F r a n e k e discusses the development of the conditions and points out that in many private administrations, especially in the Prince Schwarzenberg's administration, the staff is not in line with the requirements that are now being applied to forestry; both the use of additional cover to meet the war needs of the German people and the clearing up of the snowfall woods force an intensification also in the field of the deployment of forest officials. 2. Landforetmeister P r a n c k e has examined and confirmed the finding already made by the German Kommiesar at the regional authority of Prague, Oberforstmeister Kä p l e r, that it is by no means a question of somehow housing surplus Czech beantes. In addition, it is a temporary measure, as has been expressly stated in the decree of the Land authority. 3. If the Prince Schwarzenberg's administration claims that Czech officials should be recruited, this does not correspond to the wording of the order.
