English Translation
This is probably due to an obvious lack of planning of the foreign press department in the press department of the Reich government on the date of 15.3.44. At the same time, as could be observed from Prague, without the knowledge of the international press department e.g. l2 of the foreign journalists accredited in Berlin were brought to Pressburg by the Slovak government. Other foreign journalists had been sent to Krakow at the same time because a Polish theatre was opened there. As a confidential statement of the envoy Braun von Stumm from the press department of the Federal Foreign Office shows, - Braun von Stillm is said to have explained that little will have to be done out of the Prague journey, since the Protectorate is no real autonomy anyway - in Berlin the protectorate's journey of foreign journalists against the promise given to the German State Ministry was apparently first regarded as a matter of second rank and probably only from the strong exhibition of the protectorates' establishment day by the leader himself recognized and appreciated the political order of this memorial day. The delegation arrived in Prague on 15.3.944 was composed of the following journalists and travel companions: 1.) Sévoz France (Petit Parisien) 2.) Casadesus " (OFI) (first on l8.3. ank.) 3.) Huyts Holland (Nieuwe Rotterdamsche 50502 Courant) 4.) Popa Romania (Rado) 5.) Gernandt Sweden (Dagsposten) 6.) Skytte Rasmussen Denmark (Nationaltidende /Svenska Dagbladet) 7.)
