ASESN AGSDPHNY a8 BO0 coue R Betr.: Verführung Prager Schulkinder aufs Land zur abstimmen der Luftdanger. I am adding a copy of a letter from the President of the Police to Prague, dated 1 December 1984, to the Ministry of Education asking for a decision as to whether the request made by the President may be addressed to the parents. I am aware from previous discussions that there was no intention of sending children from Prague. It can be assumed that the announcement of the suggestion of the President of the Police, even if it is carried out with all caution, will cause excitement among the population, and I therefore do not want to follow the suggestion made by the President without express explanation. The lack of suitable air protection rooms is mostly due to the lack of basement in the school buildings or in the nearest neighborhood. As far as possible, the local air protection line supports the school administration in the production of new air protection rooms, air protection tunnels, etc., but the work continues relatively slowly as a result of the difficulties in the procurement of materials. Therefore, the children living in the vicinity of approximately 100 m are sent home at L/2o. On the improvement and extension B. W. Ircas 2FW.N- St.M. vmB-104a/4
