JAN. 1944 On the order of Mr Staetsminleterg-vedemuet4, in consultation with Major Jurk of the Einsatztab II, I report the following: On my telephone call, Major Jurk sent me two officials (Banschenbach and Assmann) with whom I agreed on the basic principles of a new Einsaetztab II invoice and the procedure to be followed. Major Jurk explained to the officials who sent me to carry out the work that he had prepared the bill on the basis of the books and the corresponding receipts= and expenditure receipts. However, all books and supporting documents were at the moment in the hands of the 4-upper group leader Daluege. He could therefore not give any clarifications about the posts of the invoice he had drawn up. But even if he had the books and supporting documents in his hands, he would allow an insight into these necessary documents for the preparation of each invoice with an explicit written approval of the 1⁄2-upper group leader.
