/K 11/3 Prague, 8 April 1944 Preliminary final report. Since already by the first criminal police investigations, the result of which in the interim report of 1.4.1944, Bl. In the meantime, further inspections have been carried out in this direction. One attempt was made to clarify the facts either by means of a direct examination of the accounts and the storage, in so far as it could only be carried out in the short time available, and by direct interviews with witnesses, either to relieve or burden the individual suspects. As a result of these over-examinations, the following can generally be said about the Einsatzstab II: The Einsauffel II had the task to procure for bomb-damaged dwellings. In addition, it was still used to carry out special tasks, but all of them were more or less related to the construction of apartments. The task was solved in such a way that furniture from former Jewish dwellings and from castles, country residences and houses of state enemies transferred and provisionally into the Lager belonging to the Einsatzstab II, which. the entire Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia was not carried out, to the extent that it could be established so far, by proper stock accounting, by which the items or objects taken over by the Einsatzstab II were to be recorded. This is why it is no longer possible to control the whole of the items taken over by the Einsatztab II. The inspection in this direction becomes even more difficult because the head of the Einstab II department, Major J u r k, gave the order to hand over goods to a certain group of persons against anonymous delivery notes or formless notes. The audit of the accounts also resulted in it being built up in such a way that it is no longer possible to check individual money movements. Thus, for example, the daily cash income was recorded only in total. Since the individual instalments are not apparent from the accounts either, because they have not been cancelled, it is not possible to say with certainty today in individual cases whether invoice payments have been made. Whether this veiled inventory management and accounting has been carried out has not yet been answered with certainty. It is clear, however, that the nameless delivery notes and formless notes issued for certain categories of persons have been drawn up on the instructions of Major J u r k. Also with regard to the non-booking of certain sales by the Ein- zimmerstab II it must be assumed already now that Major J rk has given appropriate instructions. It is also partly competent to do so. To conclude, it should be noted that an inventory has not yet been drawn up. According to the Major J u r k, the reason for this is a lack of workers.
