The general officer for the super-local air protection No. 1234 Prague, 14 December 1944 0800 dete B3 To the - t nlstera ed doe Chief of the Ministry, 1 5 DEC 1944 Mr. Ministerial Councillor Dr. G i e se Betr.: Furniture warehouse of the Einsatzstabes II Appendix: 1 The Einsaetzstab II has now announced to me the individual camps which he maintains in the Protectorate. The list of the camps is available. However, the transfer of furniture to own furniture storage facilities for bomb-damaged persons is difficult, which could not be overlooked immediately. 1.) The warehouses of the employment staff contain not only furniture, but also large quantities of household appliances, carpets, laundry, etc., therefore articles for which I have no use. The furniture would therefore have to be transported from the warehouses of the employment staff to new warehouses or the employment unit would have to move to other warehouses. In both cases, substantial transports would be required, which could not be carried out at all by lorries and by rail only with the greatest difficulty and within long periods of time. 2.) The formation of own furniture warehouses for aircraft victims requires a considerable amount of space, labour (storage managers, transport workers) and vehicles. Particular difficulties would arise in taking over the newly created pieces of furniture which would have to be moved from the resulting household in various places to the next camp. Since I would only remove the furniture from these householdations, the organization of the Einsatzstab II would nevertheless have to remain for the utilization of the other objects. In addition to the previous reception apparatus of Einsachenstabs II, a second similar one would have to be raised by me. However, this does not seem to me to be acceptable at the present moment, especially St. A√b-28}/44
