46 The Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Moravia Prague, 12 October 1939 . The commander of the security police J6 4098/39 Ref.III No. It is requested to indicate the trade mark and the subject matter in further letters. Mr. Under-Secretary of State Dr. von Burgsdorf f. Subject: Anonymous letter to the Reich Protector. By letter of 5 October 1969 I 1 a No. 8l95 - here received on 9 October 1969 - Mr Oberregierungsrat V o l c k a r t delivered to me an anonymous letter addressed to Mr Reichsprotektor. The envelope in which this letter was received was not sent. The attempt to investigate the letter cry by the state police has therefore become useless from the outset, especially since the letter was received there already on 2.10.l939 and received me only a week later. By letter of 30.9.1939, the Herr Oberstaatsanwalt at the German Landgericht in Prague, Az. 4 Js. No. 504/39, the state police headquarters in Prague - entered there on the 4.l0.l939 - sent a number of flyers, which, he informs, were stopped at the post offices of the Protectorate and sent to him by the authority of the Lord Reichsprotektor. Even these flyers were not enclosed with the envelopes. The investigations are also hopeless in these cases, because considerable time has elapsed until the leaflets have come into the possession of the competent department of the secret state police. By letter of 12.9.1939 B.No. 251/39 g I had already pointed out that the fight against the production and distribution of illegal printed material was not a problem 0 G /
