Lieutenant K r e t e r has repeatedly asked him to mention cases in which the secret state police had carried out seizures, in particular of food. After P o 1 á k had initially refused, K r e t z l e r must have explained to him: "I give you my word of honor that no one will know from whom you have been commissioned to carry out investigations in such cases." On the other hand, P o l ák had to give his word of honour not to speak to any third person about this matter. On the basis of this agreement, he - P o 1 á k - had then instructed his gendarmerie officers to write down and hand over to him all cases that had become known to them or had otherwise been to be investigated in which the secret state police had carried out seizures. He had presented the notes laid down by the officials on these cases to Lieutenant K r a t - 1 r, who had made notes with pencil on the same day. Since P o l ák is in custody and his further imprisonment must be lifted if his statements are based on truth, I have called on Lieutenant K r a t - l r to an official statement which I have not yet received from the Oberlandrat in Jitschin. However, I do not doubt the accuracy of the statements made by the P o l á k, because the Oberlandrat in Jitschin, at a ministerial meeting about the time when the incident between P o L á K and K r ä t z l e r had occurred, stated that it had been brought about that the Home State Police in Jungbunzlau had been held in the Czech Republic.
