- 2 - to be brought before the Court: Lively complaints about the complete lack of nails and wire pins since these goods were released, lawsuit over lack of work clothes. In the field of air protection, lawsuit was brought over the difficult execution of the decree of the Lord Reich Protector, commander of the police order, of 22.4.1943, L/4a. This last complaint is not to be denied a certain degree of justification in respect of housing conditions. In the field of agriculture, there has been a complaint about the late allocation of seed for the cultivation of oil fruit. Again, the complaint is partly justified. It must be stressed that the reporting Czech administrative officials perform their task very skilfully. Above all, the Czech District Komnissar Mača made a very good impression. He also answered very sensitive Prague very wisely and proved the reliable work of the authority, as well as the appropriateness of the orders made. The negotiations in Wall.-Meserich as well as in Rosenau, which were finally conducted in Czech, since at best 5 % of the mayors present understood German, have made the impression that the sprawling population is happy to accept clarifications of the difficulties that arise. At the conclusion of both meetings, the Oberland- rat spoke about the political situation. The German statements were translated into Czech. Here, too, the inter- est and the participation of the Czech mayors, which was also expressed by individual aberrations, was apparent. In the Anachluss to the conference in Rosenau, the newly built Bdl-Haushaltungsschule in Resenau and the recreation camp of the Reinhard Heydrich recreation campaign for armament workers in Ober-Betschwa were subjected to an in-depth inspection.
