It is draft 236g.44 Dr.Bie/Hab Reinschr.30.9.44 Hab. VI/1 - B - 1100 - 1 0/44 Prague, the -2. X. 1944 1.) To Brg b.-Obergruppenführer Minister of State F r a n k /,941 +0 in the house. Subject: 4-force training site Beneschau. On 11.9.44 one of my staff visited the site in consultation with the commander of the Böhmen troop training ground and the responsible site management in order to check the harvest and seed levels. Without being able to answer here the individual results of the visit, two fundamental questions arise from the findings gained and according to the report which has become to me. It must be made clear that, without prejudice to its training regulations, the force must be involved in the construction and harvesting of the plant to the appropriate extent; the shooting operation in the square must also be taken into account. The second, much more important question is to what extent the artillery target area, which has so far been demarcated on the square, with an increasing duration of war and the increasingly difficult food situation to this extent must be preserved. I believe that the target area can be reduced in favour of the farms located on the outer edge of the square, and I would ask that the arms-i initiative be taken to clarify this issue with my opinion. It cannot be held responsible that in the target area there will be an agricultural crop whose harvest can later not be recovered as a result of the interests of the troop. 1g M2M 2.)
