1./ Report on the participation of the Protectorate in the Wrocław Fair from 22 to 26 May 1940. The participation of a protectorate in Wrocoław Mass is on my part with the Ministry of Commerce. The main reason for this was that the unquestionably strong demand for agricultural machinery and equipment in the former Polish territories could also be confronted with a supply from the relevant industries in the Protectorate, since they could place considerably more favourable conditions in their delivery periods than those in the old Reich. In addition, it seemed valuable to establish a further connection via Wroclaw with the countries of South-East Europe, which already exists to a large extent via the Prague and Vienna fairs and through participation of the protectorate industry at the fairs in Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. The Protectorate, in cooperation with the Export Institute and the Ministry of Commerce, has put together a collective exhibition, in which, however, due to the relatively short preparation time available, not too much companies could participate. Unfortunately, Pirma Kolben-Daněk's exhibits did not arrive in Wroclaw in time due to transport difficulties, so that the heavy industry was not represented in the collective exhibition. In the Hall of Nations, the collective exhibition of the Protectorate between the General Government and Yugoslavia had a good place in which the exhibits were exhibited with taste and in a clear way. These were the following products and manufactures: industrial folk industry from Hungarian brod, shoes from the Bata plants, crystal and glass, insulation materials from mining and metallurgy, straw plating, M wood and toys, -2-
