Prague, 26 August 1939. V e r m e r k. General D a l u e g e called on SS Brigade leader Frank in the morning and said that the person of the Gendarner chief, who had been proposed by him as a gendarmerie commander by unknown side, did not find the agreement of the RFSS. Minister Ježek should immediately present the personnel files of Colonel Müller. The files should then be submitted immediately with a translation. Instead of Colonel Mueller another officer should be proposed. As regards the personnel records of this officer, the same procedure should be applied as with the files of colonel Mueller. I have communicated to General v. K a m p t z telephonically. General v. Kamptz stated that Colonel Müller in the XIIth Division, under the head of the Gendarmerie Department, was only employed as a representative in the Ministry of the Interior. However, it appeared to him (General v.kamptz) that he should also replace Colonel Müller from these posts. He had requested the personnel files, would have them translated and then presented General Daluege. In the report, he will refer to the telephone conversation between General Daluege and SS Brigade leader Frank. Due to a replacement proposal for Colonel Müller, further news will be received.
