21 Feber 1940. St.8. 169/40. To the 22nd A1. 1940 Commander of the Military Command of Prague, Colonel Gr a f, Prague. Dear Colonel, Prof. Gustay Qbe r l i k, known to me, has asked me to plead for him to be drafted into military service. Pg. Oberlik was born on 6.2.1 So5 in Moravian Krumau and served at the 6th Dragoner Regiment in Brno from 1929 to 1932 - most recently as a lieutenant. Oberlik volunteered for military service on 2.9.1939 and renewed this request in a personal audition with the commander of the Reichenberg Military Command. Oberlik moved to Prague on 3.2.194o - currently residing in Prague II., Hybernergasse 6, Hotel Meteor - and took command of the Prague Military Command on 7.2.194o. I would like to support the request from Oberlik, since I believe that the sudeten Germans and people's Germans who are liable for military service, as far as they are expendable from the point of view of the popular struggle, should be completely captured for military duty. I would be grateful to you, Mr Colonel, 1.318 -2 L.S-T-D-18/39.
