- 8 - /00 An urgent task of the very next time is the need to make provision for German sports places in Prague. It will be unreliable to work with the state office in Prague, as a whole range of suitable sports courts are in the possession of the country. Perhaps it would be most expedient to convene a consultation of the Reichs-, Landes- and Stadtstellen involved, so that this circle of questions can be solved comprehensively and adequately. Finally, it should be noted that the German city leadership has again this month provided tangible evidence of its firm intention to assist the party, wherever possible with regard to the Czechs. Proof of this remains the acceptance of the costs for the rallying of the party on the Old Town Square, as well as the handing over of a bell tree to the 6th-ss death-head-stand. Pür the gift dedicated by the city of Prague to the Führer and Chancellor of the Reichskanzler for his 5l birthday, on 2l./4. from the Presidential Chancellery of the Fürger a telegram of thanks received: "For your congratulations on my birthday and for sending the reduced reproduction of the St.Georg equestrian statue at the Prague Castle I thank you cordially. With German greeting Adolf Hitler." 22/4.1940.
