Department I Prague, 8th District 1943. I.) Report on my mission to Berlin. With the agreement of the Minister of State, I presented myself to State Secretary Stuokart in the Ministry of the Interior on 2 December 1983 and informed him about some of the administrative matters of the Frotekt Council. The following points were raised: 1.) According to Secretary of State Stuckart, opposition could have been filed against the strong confiscations made in September. I pointed out, on the other hand, that according to the messages given, objections were only made in individual cases and proof was only possible against replacement. Furthermore, our protest letter in Berlin remained unanswered. State Secretary Stuckart, who received our detailed letter regarding the current staff situation in the Protectorate, had to admit that the Fersonaldecke was very low and that further confiscations could hardly be held responsible. Nevertheless, he believed that he had to point out that it would probably be expected in the spring that there would be further inductions and that it was also questionable whether the district heads of the young vintages, hitherto protected by special agreements, could be held. He already recommends that older forces be employed. In addition to the deployment of the three Bavarian Land Councillors, which he had made available, he also thinks of a further engagement of the Upper Land Councilors Krohmer, Meusel and Bayerl. in the field service. Palls should prove himself to the Bavarian Land Parliamentlords - which is not yet established - to ask Ministerial Director Helms to provide further South German Land Councils. 2.) I gave a detailed explanation of the decree of 4 November 1943 concerning State Secretary Stuckart. He referred to MA-56a/43
