OST copy. NP - 23 565 Italian Consulate General, Prague, (10.7.) On the landing in Sicily: An unknown (apparently Mrs. Enea) explains Dr. de Lucia that she had just heard about the landing and fighting in Sicily. She had to cry so that her head hurts. De Lucia replied that he had already known it at noon, but had not been told before the present society. The unknown thinks he has done right. After frequent prayers that this is the truth, she tells de Lucia that she had the following peculiar dream: she had fallen into a house that belonged to all appearances of an artist. While wandering around in this house, she had gotten into a large room. The door had suddenly opened and a beautiful woman who had had a great similarity with the American Statue of Liberty had come in and had recognized this woman as her husband's loved one, had gone to meet her and had asked her to be friends. They had then embraced each other warmly. De Lucia notes that this is not an ordinary dream in his opinion, but corresponds to the truth and is "in the com- men" (stà verrando). De Lucia wishes a good trip to the unknown. The unknown one thanks and thinks that one should not forget to hide the real feelings, not to let his head hang and smile. De Lucia replied that it was the hardest thing to do abroad, and also here, where one is surrounded by Czechs and Germans. However, since their dream was probably truth, one would certainly see one again in better times - and then in Italy. ci ccmnge eCehis CCrginitoank). 7/ 8.43.
