SS London (Czech: 20.45 am): "Today, on the 8th day of the feast. Sept.43, the Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Armed Forces on the Mediterranean War Square, @eneral Eisenhower, issued the following statement of historical importance: The Italian government and the Inre armies have surrendered unconditionally.I signed the ceasefire as the Commander of the Ober, which was approved by the Governments of Great Britain, the US and the Soviet Union. I hereby fulfil the will of the united nations. It has undertaken to comply unconditionally with all the demands made. The ceasefire treaty has been signed by my commissioner and by the representative of Marshal Badolio and will enter into force immediately. The hostilities between the united nations and Italy will be stopped immediately. All those who are helping from now on to dispel the German attackers from the Italian soil will receive the full support and assistance of the Allied nations."
