16 The representative of the German Minister of State for the Extended Dispatch of Children's Land in Bohemia and Moravia. Prague, 14.9.1943. Enclosed to 1 5. IX. 1943. To the Ministerial Council SS-Obersturmbannführer Dr. G i e s in the house. Subject: Announcements District Jitschin. Last month, I made an unexcellent survey and determined the following result: from the CLV camp Chlumetz a.d. Zidlina, 6 - 8 boys left without a permit and came to Silesia. There, they were detained and taken back by their camp manager. After their return, they themselves stated that it had been much better in the Chlumetz camp than indicated by them. After consultation with the district captain of Jitschin, the KLV commissioner, the local group leader and the camp manager, it could be determined that all the boys were not only well accommodated but also well fed. The message that supervision and teacher personnel consume food of the boys for themselves lacks any basis. Probably the removal of the 6-8 boys is due to the fact that the boys themselves were energetically touched by the camp team leader. The boys returned from the main camp- Fl 7@. &3. leader, follower Ebbinghaus, now distributed to various camps.
