On this occasion, I would point out that it must not happen that, through indifference and over-lived prejudices, well-suited guards are overlooked, or that these men only get into the officer's career by direct contacting me with their relatives or themselves, bypassing the service path. On the other hand, it must not happen that completely unsuitable men are proposed, as is repeatedly the case. Proposals by officers who are suitable for the career of officers must be submitted at the requested dates. The deadlines set must be kept strictly in mind. On 1.4. and 1.10.j.js., first on 1.6.1940 (terms with inspectors 1.3. and 1.9. j.Js., for the first time 1.5.1940) I ask for lists of suitable guards on the basis of the given points of view according to the following pattern: 1. location, 2. rank, 3. first and last name, 4. date of birth, height and physical fitness, 6. marital status, religion, 7. schooling, 8. affiliation to the NSDAP. Military service, entry into the police, 10. Duration of special training after entry in the list of officer candidates and result, 11. Assessment, 12. Remarks. Changes reports must be submitted on the fixed dates. The according to No 20 of the Rumerlesses of 24.11.1939 (RMBliV. S.24O4c) without prejudice to the required reporting on the maintenance of the already submitted proposals and any new submissions of proposals.
