Krzemusch 103 Eugen Graf Ledebur Post Wohontsch Sudetengau on 23 April 1940. Elngeh 26.APR. 1940 N K.d.R. Dear Mr Reichsstatthalter ! I ask that I allow myself to bring to your knowledge a matter concerning the former German-political employment office. Mr Ludwig Dürr was employed by the German-Political Labour Office at the time when I was in the office of chairman, with the title of law firm director. He did not actually correspond to the activity of the person named, who was primarily responsible for making voluntary donations for the maintenance of the employment office. In the exercise of this sphere of activity, Mr. Dürr was much traveling and seeking to bring in money from old and new friends of work. This task was certainly neither a pleasant nor an easy one. Nor can it be mutilated that Director Dürr worked with good success until circa l930. With the increasing fragmentation and disintegration of German politics, the interest that our former patrons took in the employment office's holdings, i.e. the means to the labour office, became increasingly scarcer. I tried, even after the laying down of my senate - mandates in silent, tough work, the thin thread of the national parliament.
