C8 THE ROOM PROTECTOR Prague, II, 4 April 1940. in Bohemia and Moravia. Ministry of Transport. Śvehia-Ufer 20 Nbv.No. 0.1571/40. ben Reichsprotekio in Böhmen and Mähten. Eing. 10. APR.1940 N. An a) the group Moravia Tgb. No.: .d.d. b) the Lords Oberlandraten. /μ12.40 Subject: Posting of replacement vehicles. The appointment of the 1 500 trucks for the Wehrmacht was carried out in accordance with schedule. Thanks to the precaution in the selection of the vehicles, traffic disturbances could be avoided on a large scale. However, in the individual Oberland- ratsbezirken transport difficulties occurred in W-betrieben, which had to be corrected by the allocation of replacement vehicles. In addition, in the near future approximately ...loo trucks of certain types for Wehrmacht purposes will be registered, for which it is also likely that replacements will have to be made. In the above decree of 2 March 1 940 ways for the allocation of replacement vehicles have been indicated. 1) Procurement of replacement cars by purchase on the basis of voluntary agreement. W-operations and transport companies, which have to deliver a vehicle to the Wehrmacht, can acquire a replacement vehicle at any time from the stock of non-angled vehicles. The participation of the Oberlandrat may be limited to the issue of the angle. Unfortunately, since the protectorate does not yet have a market price regime for motor vehicles, a voluntary agreement is usually not reached as a result of excessive price demands. However, as soon as the owners of non-angled lorries learn that they have to hand over their vehicle at a reasonable estimate price under the Reichsleistungsgesetz, this simple procedure may in future be the rule.
