- 41 - 23 Energy of the Czechoslovak colony in America during the war was d rart that the fatigue that skins in America reigns must sintraten:, But I am aware that the people have no better sons and more bashful daughters than the emigrants. Those who are condemned by fate to live in foreign countries can feel better for the homeland and the people than the people who live where sia was born. They have not misunderstood how hard bread is, and I am sure that the Czechoslovaks in America will always stand behind this republic, just as they stood behind Masaryk, behind their great leader in the great time of war. I have seen that T.G.Masaryk, who was the symbol of all their revolutionary aspirations and desires, is to them just such a sacred appearance today, as he was in the time of the revolution. The Czechoslovak Republic is the most precious achievement of the World War and our war of custody abroad and no one can love it more than those who were direct participants in our revolution, our struggles and our rebirth. And certainly I speak from the saele of the American Czechoslovaks; when I declare; We were ready to give good and blood to the independence of the Czech people, and with all our abilities we will ensure and participate in their preservation and consolidation.
