12a - 20 - From the victory of Germany a new and terrible danger for the world will arise - the stronger militarism! Whoever helps Germany is an enemy of humanity, of the working people, is an foe of this country, an enemy to the oppressed peoples! Whoever supports Germany helps mili-tarism and all reaction that enslaves the people. And Germany helps those who at this time, under the false pretext of wages and social kimpfen, call for strikes that have the only purpose: to weaken the Allies and thus strengthen Prussian militarism. Working! The sacrifice that you bring through your work, you bring to all humanity, It is unthinkable that the American worker sinks so deeply that in a time when the European peoples and his brothers die in blood, he would not suffocate the Hydra of this Prussian militarism that he would let himself be ripped in Etreiks by German agitators under the pretext of a struggle for ten cents and thus become a pest of his brothers. The American Slavic worker must not sink so deeply that he would make Dr. Dumba, a magnate and gross insulter of the Slavic people, the master of his actions. Working! Are your hearts insensitive to the suffering and misery of your brothers? Do you not understand today your task, your mission in the great struggle of humanity? You, too, will certainly understand that not the only way to the truth is through this moment of peace, and cannot lead, but through the struggle for the destruction of Prussian Mi- litarism; this struggle of humanity will bring the fruitful and lasting peace. You too will certainly understand that it is your human, though terrible, but sacred duty to participate in this struggle through the support of those who are in irreconcilable struggle against the militarism of Prussia. From the fall of Prussian militarianism the preconditions will develop into a new social foundation. But the Prussian-German propaganda in this country, paid and bribed with enormous sums of the German government, seeks not only to provoke strikes that are intended to strengthen Prussian militarism, but not only seeks to buy and bribe the conscience of the heads of the Austrian-Sl Wakian associations, leagues, associations and units, but also to bring our own country to anger pelitically.
