English Translation
87 - 75 - How great was the love for the country for which he worked, which is evident from the words of Josef Kovár, the Boston-old socialist. When I went from Ameri-ka to my homeland in the year l9l9, old Kovář wrote me the following letter: "Dear friend, I would have a great request to you. If you really like me, she will not beat me. If you travel around in Bohemia, go also to Wildenschwerdt to the eagle and tell them there at home, that I think of them all thirty-five years ago, that 12 years ago I sat on the hill "Kubinec" and from there secretly shaded to Oust, where I did not. And tell them that I have only one longing in my life, and that is to see my oust again..." *My eyes saw the light of my salvation and I will die in peace." The American branch has accomplished the meaning of its mission. Will it return to its old life, whose heavy question is that appalling being or non-being? Is its task fully fulfilled? Shouldn't we think about it? Note: It was decided by the organizers of the lectures of the revolution cycle that the participation of the Slovaks in the foreign revolution was dedicated to a special lecture. The task assumed by Minister Dr. Markovič. Äus this reason the treatise touches the participation by the American Slovaks to the resolution only in the ground plans. A detailed description will be given in Dr. Markovič's treatise.
