28 Prague, 7 October 1939. 1.) Note. Mr. Dr. Volckart, Councillor of the Supreme Government, informed on 6 October 1939 that the Colonel (?) Blaha, Prague, had addressed himself to him and had expressed the wish to be received by the Secretary of State. Mr Ieh then informed Mr Volckart that the Secretary of State was not of any value at the moment for the reception of any political figures, unless there were special circumstances. Moreover, 'Blaha has tried to get over me to the State Secretary, a request that I had hitherto acted as a dilator. Mr Volckart expressed his astonishment at the tactics of Blaha, which had been unknown in the past, and finally expressed himself in a sense that he no longer made himself available to Blaha for the same and similar things. 2.)
