I request, in the aftermath of my letter of February 28, 194o, Z. XIV Nr. E I U O - 1l6/4O, the following decree for all German schools (people's schools, civic schools, higher schools, teacher training institutions and schools of technical direction) of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia: "The Whitsun holidays last from Friday, May 1st to Tuesday, May 4th. Regular classes start again on Wednesday, May 5th at 8 a.m. The organization of the classification and final conferences is left to the heads of the schools. The school year 1939/40 ends on Friday, July 28th. On this day, a flag ceremony with a subsequent closing ceremony will take place at 8 p.m, in which all teachers and pupils will have to participate. The year's certificates, which bear the date of 28 June 194o, are then distributed. Registrations, recordings and close-up examinations for the next school year are carried out during the last week of teaching.
