Betr.: Czech Historical Institute in Rome. On 14.4.42, Pg. Stuchlik, in his capacity as Inspector of the Ministry of Education and People's Culture, closed the Czech Historical Institute in Rome. Stichlik had previously agreed with Mr. Wussow, Legation Council of the Cultural Service of the German Embassy and Mr. Otto Lechner from the German embassy. At the same time the head of the German Historical Institute in Rome, Prof. Bock, was involved. The closing decree was handed over to Mr. Gottlieb Chytil from the Czech Historical Institute by Pg. Stuchlik in the presence of Mr. Lechner and Prof.Bock. At the same time, it was entrusted with the liquidation of the Institute and asked to present a list of the entire inventory and of the assets and liabilities items. In addition to the holdings of the Czech Historical Institute, there were also a number of files of the former Czechoslovak delegation in Rome in the premises of the Institute.
