Group I/10 then presented to the Secretary of State on 31.7.41 an order to the Prime Minister in Prague asking him to close the institute with immediate effect and to have the library returned to Prague with the exception of Slovak works. Copy of this order should be sent to the representative of the Foreign Office. The letter did not go out, as Dr.v.Both reported on 1.8. that the Institute in Rome was already being monitored by German security bodies. The inquiries of the SD-leitungspart Prague at the Reichssicherheitshauptamt in Berlin caused the matter to be delayed and not brought to an end. 4.) The SD section of the head office in Prague receives a completion of the above note with the request for independent information of the Reichsssicherheitshauptamt or the police attack at the German Embassy in Rome.
