The Imperial Protector Prague March 31, 1942 412/7 D Cult 11 No.1 Subject: Former Czechoslovak Historical Institute in Rome. Dear Lord Superior Government Council! In the above mentioned matter, I received an order from the Federal Foreign Office saying: "I should like to point out that here there is a desire to see the dissolution of the former Czechoslovak Historical Institute in Rome as soon as possible, especially since, as it is noted with confidence, the Slovak side of the plan has emerged to establish its own Slovak institute in Rome. For these reasons, I would also like to stress that the library of the Institute in Rome will be dissolved as soon as possible and that the Czech and Slovak works will be brought to Berlin as planned, where they will be handed over to the Slovak envoy on a special occasion. I assume that this dissolution of the library does not stand in the way of any final settlement of the whole matter. I would also like to remind you of the final regulation of the relationship of the law firm officer Chytil." I am in contact with SS-Sturmbann- führer Wolf and Group I 11 and I would like to offer you all my best wishes to inform the Secretary of State.
