So, following the Wenceslas tradition with its memory of the then flourishing prosperity in the Bohemian Moravian countries, he used the persuasive power of healthy human intelligence as a political means. If the Czechs could quietly obey a sound reason, they had to realize that they had every reason to be satisfied with their fate, with a fate that had saved them from war, hunger and destruction, which did not require blood sacrifices from them, but only work, and well-paid work. Thus Heydrich approached his construction work in close connection with the reality of life.
