INTRODUCTION On 7 March 1944 Reinhard Heydrich would have become 40 years old. This date, which is particularly significant for Bohemia and Moravia, the last place of his work, gives reason to look at his work in a comprehensive view, which in a few years led him to the highest places of party and state. While he was only able to see his broad political, cultural and social economic ideas put into practice for just under eight months, alongside his position as head of the security police and SD, his thoughts continue to live in the men who took up this rich heritage. Eight months are only a short period of time in the history of the individual. Measured by the development of a people, they seem to be nothing. However, the fact that they have become a time of upheaval and reorganization for Bohemia and Moravia is due to the characteristic power of Reinhard Heydrich's personality, whose work remains unforgotten.
