English Translation
Subject: VII 12134/39 Mr Dr S i e g e r t The exchange rate ratio of 1 Rll = 10 K has been expressly confirmed by law and as regards the payment between the Protectorate and the Old Kingdom, also recently in the order of the National Bank for Bohemia and Moravia concerning the transfers of payments between the protectorate of Bohemia and Mähren and the rest of the territory of the German Reich (Kundma=chung des Finanzministers vom 1.Dec.1939; Sammlung der Gesetze und Ver=ordnungen Nr.288). In Art. 6 para.4 a.s.o. it states: "The National Bank for Bohemia and Moravia in Prague carries out the Liguidation of the amounts incurred in the context of the balance on its "New German Goods Account", or in its "new special account" at the Ver= Rechnungskasse in Berlin according to the ratio 10 K = 1 RM." There is no room for the consent of exceptions. It would also be appropriate to consider that not only students, but also other interested parties would require a special course for themselves. In the case of the rest of the Reich, it is likely that in recent times, through the various improvements in the amount of time I should be studying in the Old Reich, all those who study abroad could be considered to have been able to do so. However, it seems to me that payment transactions between the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Federal Republic are subject to a further revision.
