In their achievements the hatred of the whole people against the tyrants, their indomitable resistance, their love for freedom, the legacy of their militant tradition and the heroes of our past is expressed. It is without a doubt that the whole atmosphere in the USSR and the example of the Red Army inspire our struggles. Their success is due to the excellent training they received in the Soviet country and the experience of the red army acquired in bloody struggles; they fought against a superiority, so they were in the same situation as the people in their homeland. They gave proof, as the Soviet-Armists already knew before, that an intrepid heart, indomitable will and ardent patriotism can master even the most appalling horrors of the German superpower. Those who fought so brilliantly on the eastern front are only a fraction of the national cadre, they are of the same flesh and blood as the hundreds of thousands of members of our armies who stayed at home, and who are aware that our republic is at war with Hitler's Germany. Their example, which opens up a new chapter in the heroic liberation struggle of our people, is to us all encouragement and commitment.
