- 5 - 7 1. March 2, 1943, was alarmed and immediately marched in a southerly direction. At that time only the Germans had blown up the Russian front in one place and the Czech unity had to come to the aid of their Russian comrades. On the other day the Czechoslovak military unit took a position south of the larger village of Mirgorod. Company was pushed over the river Mosh and set up in front of and in the village of Sokolov in defense. To strengthen it, a train of the 2nd company, 2 trains of the 3rd company and a train from the MG company were assigned to it. The order for the reinforced 1st company led Lieutenant Jaroš. Until 8 March it was quiet. However, the 5 prisoners themselves are supposed to tell them about the battle events on that day. Corporal Šmolik waix was a radio telegraphist at the battle in the immediate vicinity of Lieutenant Jaroš and can inform you about the combat operation of Jaroš, who, as we know from the reports of the enemy radio, was so highly honored. The corporal Kuric belonged to the reinforcement train of the MG company. Egger and Šnajdr belonged to a reinforcement train split off from the 2nd company and Maksimistinec was a member of the 3rd company. So the 5 prisoners can give us a very complete picture of the battle course at the entire position of the reinforced 1st company. Free conversation afterwards. F.d.Rd.A. Employees
