3 - 3 - whether the persons who have been registered are subject to the political obligation required by § lo of the first implementing decree of the Reichskul- turkammergesetz. A particularly careful processing, of inquiries of this kind, is necessary in order to make available to the Reichsschriftskammer the valid material necessary for the rejection of these persons and thus to prevent the printing of a large number of confessional brochures. In cooperation with the Reichsschriftskammer, the supervision of the confessional writings carried out in the Reich Security Main Office is continuously examined whether the authors covered here are members of the chamber and thus a large measure of assurance that violations of the regulation are established and whose criminal provisions are applied (p. 2.) Order issued by the Minister of the Reich for the affairs of the Church concerning the distribution of religious writings by civil ecclesiastical authorities of l2.7.1940. The circular decree, in agreement with the Oberkomman- do der Wehrmacht, made it clear that the spreading of religious literature by civil-ecclesial stellon to members of the armed forces is prohibited. The circular has already been announced with letters from the Reichssicherheitshauptamt II B 3l - C - 12 of 20.7.1940. It is attached in Appendix 3 again in the text. The circular was underlined by a further decree of the Reich's Minister of the Church and the High Command of the Wehrmacht, which is contained in Annex 1 pages 6 to 7. All known cases of corruption and the attempt to circumvent them must continue to be covered by the presentation of the relevant facts.
